finestARGENTINA was founded by Brigitte and Ricardo Havenstein, drawing on their 20 years of experience with tourists in Argentina.
Their personal stories take course in Argentina as well as in Germany, Ecuador, USA and Switzerland.
Born in Ecuador and adopted as a baby by German and Swiss parents, Brigitte studied Psychology in the USA and lived and worked in Switzerland. She was also involved in research at the Max Planck Institute in Munich, Germany. She is fluent in 5 languages.
Born in Argentina to a family of German/Spanish descent, Ricardo is the great-nephew of the former president of the German Reichsbank in Berlin—an office he held until 1923. When Ricardo was 18 years old, he moved to Germany to study music. He graduated as a classical concert guitarist from the University of Cologne. After 20 years of concert life and teaching, Ricardo and his wife Brigitte moved back to Argentina to share their enthusiasm for “the most beautiful end of the world” with their guests.
Based on their personal international stories, both of them understand how best to create a balanced act between cultures: knowing precisely the desires and expectations of their guests and operating with reliability, efficiency and security to make each trip a flawless experience.

Over the years, we have won the trust of our clients through honesty, dependability and efficiency. We work exclusively with the leading hotels in the country to ensure that our guests receive the best comfort, service, and quality. Stemming from long experience, we are reluctant to delegate the execution of a meticulously organized trip, since its success and your satisfaction depend directly on this. That is why we accompany our guests as their personal travel guides, in order to guarantee a smooth course of their trip.
When Brigitte or Ricardo accompany you on your trip, you not only have a Spanish native-speaker who can immediately take care of any minor unpleasantness, you also have someone who speaks your language perfectly, be it English or German. This is incredibly valuable in Argentina because you rarely find locals who speak or understand anything except Argentinian-Spanish.
In addition, we are versed in all possible alternatives in the design of the various travel modules so that you can determine the details of your trip on the spot. While at your side, we cater your trip to your interests and spontaneity.

The Iguazú waterfalls, on the border of Argentina and Brazil, is the largest waterfall complex in the world. There are a total of more than 275 waterfalls across 16.7 miles, ranging in height from 210 and 270 feet. Here you can experience the breath-taking impact of 21,000 cubic feet of water crashing into the depth every second. This spectacle can be marveled at from both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the border, from observation bridges, from motor boat tours below the falls, to even a 360 degree bird’s eye view of the falls by helicopter. The falls are surrounded by tropical rain forest where one can occasionally spot coatis, jaguars, huge tucans, caimans, monkeys, etc. The waterfalls and the Iguazú National Park are UNESCO world natural heritage sites.

Aside from the sporting activities of dove hunting and horseback riding, Córdoba also offers the possibility to immerse oneself in the Jesuit culture. Long ago, the Jesuits built the country's first university here, bred mules, worked the land and shaped the whole region for over 150 years. Córdoba also offers many attractive gaucho festivals like rodeos, horse races, competitions and other horse games, which are a major feature of local culture.

The horse is central to gaucho life, and we organize a number of equestrian activities in Córdoba—the heartland of the gauchos in Argentina. As a beginner you will learn to understand, love, and ride horses. For those with more advanced skills, you can take classes in polo. Trail rides into the Sierras of Córdoba, through rivers and over mountains, are a cherished must for our guests. We also take you to rodeos, gaucho horse races, and traditional horse skill competitions.
We offer this exciting excursion set in amazing landscapes in two regions of Argentina: Cañón del Río Juramento in the Province of Salta and Cañón del Río Atuel in the Province of Mendoza.
